Camerata Chicago, Beethoven Symphony No. 6
In the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia the Camerata Chicago Chamber Orchestra holds its 20th Anniversary Celebration concert.
Internationally renowned violinist Stefan Milenkovich performs the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Conducted by Maestro Drostan Hall, Camerata Chicago will also perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the Pastoral, and the Barber of Seville Overture by Rossini.
This concert is also in celebration of the work of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago which was founded by HRH Crown Princess Katherine to help those in need in Serbia. Ticket proceeds from this concert will be donated to Lifeline.
Michigan State University, Residency Concert
From the tango of the Rió de la Plata to the string quartets of Silvestre Revueltas, the Kaia String Quartet is an ensemble devoted to promoting the rich and colorful music of Latin America. In addition to frequent performances in both the US and abroad, the quartet plays an active role in Chicago’s music scene where they are regular guests at the Chicago Latino Music Festival and the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art.
